Mission statement

My mission in Thailand is to partner with the Ohlers and help further their incredible work of spreading Christ’s love and hope.

As I teach English, I’ll be focusing on building real connections with students, equipping them with important skills while sharing the gospel in a way that reflects God’s love and grace. Along with that, I’m excited to dive into the local community, volunteering wherever I can to support ongoing projects that align with both the Ohlers' mission and my own desire to serve with a mindset of learning and growing. I also know this journey is about more than just giving—I’m coming to Thailand to learn and grow. As I serve and connect with people from different backgrounds, I’ll be challenged and compromised out of comfort in ways that deepen my faith and understanding of God's work in the world.

I want to document my experiences through content creation, sharing the stories of the people I meet and the impact of God’s faithfulness in both the community and in my own life. My hope is that by sharing these stories, others will be inspired to get involved in missions, serve others, and open their minds and pray and support the Ohlers in Thailand. In the end, this mission is not just about what I can give, but also about how I’ll be changed. I’m here to support the work of the Ohlers, serve the local people, and grow in my own walk with Christ, knowing that God will use this time to shape me as much as I hope to be a blessing to others. Through teaching, serving, and sharing stories, I pray that this experience will make a lasting impact—for the people I serve and for me, as I continue to grow in faith and purpose.

It all starts with a seed…

One night, i had the strangest urge to go back to Thailand. I say to my mom

“I think I need to go to Thailand”

she looks at me and says “why do you say that?”

“I don’t know I just know I need to”
